Departments

Deaconry

The Deacons and Deaconesses assist in the smooth running of church services, maintain the church’s physical upkeep, provide assistance during ordinances such as Communion, and support the needy within the church community.

Eldership

Elders are spiritual leaders who provide pastoral care, assist in preaching and teaching, oversee church activities, and ensure doctrinal faithfulness. They work closely with the pastor to nurture members and guide the church’s mission.

Clerkship

The Church Clerk is responsible for maintaining official church records, membership lists, minutes of meetings, and correspondence. They ensure proper documentation and facilitate communication between church leadership and members.

Stewardship

The Stewardship Department educates members on responsible management of their time, talents, treasures, and temple (health). It encourages faithful tithes and offerings while promoting a culture of generosity and trust in God.

Nurture and Retention

This department focuses on strengthening the faith of existing members, preventing backsliding, and reintegrating those who have become inactive. It organizes fellowship activities, visitations, and spiritual growth initiatives.

Public Address

Responsible for managing church sound systems and audio-visual equipment, ensuring clear communication during services and events. This department plays a key role in enhancing worship experiences.

Treasury

The Treasury Department handles the church’s financial management, including tithes, offerings, budgeting, and financial reporting. It ensures transparency and accountability in financial matters.

Adventist Men Organization (AMO)

AMO provides spiritual and social development for men, encouraging them to be active in church leadership, evangelism, and community service. It also promotes strong family values and mentorship.

Adventist Ladies Organization (ALO)

ALO supports women in spiritual growth, leadership, and community service. It fosters mentorship among women, encourages family wellness, and promotes engagement in church and outreach programs.

Education

The Education Department promotes Adventist Christian education, supporting students in Adventist schools, encouraging literacy and spiritual growth, and advocating for faith-based learning principles.

Prayer Ministry

This department leads the church in intercessory prayer, organizes prayer sessions, and encourages members to develop a strong personal prayer life. It fosters spiritual revival through fasting and praying.

City Evangelism

Focused on urban mission work, this department organizes outreach programs, Bible studies, and evangelistic campaigns in cities, adapting methods to effectively reach diverse populations.

Health Ministries

Educates members on holistic well-being, promoting the Adventist health message of proper nutrition, exercise, temperance, and reliance on God. It organizes health screenings, wellness programs, and medical outreach.

Master Guide

A leadership development program within the Adventist Youth Ministries, training young people in spiritual leadership, community service, and outdoor skills. Master Guides serve as mentors for Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs.

Voice of Prophecy (VOP)

A Bible correspondence school that provides structured Bible study lessons to help members and non-members grow in their faith and understanding of Adventist beliefs.

Music Ministry

Enhances worship through sacred music, leading congregational singing, organizing choirs and instrumental groups, and ensuring music aligns with Adventist principles to uplift and inspire worshippers.

Adventist Muslim Relations (AMR)

This department focuses on building meaningful relationships with Muslim communities while sharing the love of Christ. It promotes interfaith understanding, friendship, and appropriate evangelistic approaches that respect cultural and religious sensitivities.

Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy Department provides spiritual care in institutions such as schools, hospitals, prisons, and military settings. Adventist chaplains offer counselling, conduct worship services, and support individuals facing spiritual or emotional challenges. Their mission is to bring hope, comfort, and biblical guidance in diverse environments.

Personal Ministries

Focused on mobilizing church members for personal evangelism, this department equips members with training, resources, and strategies for outreach, Bible studies, and witnessing. It encourages every member to be actively involved in sharing the gospel.

Sabbath School

The heart of Bible study in the church, Sabbath School organizes small group discussions, mission storytelling, and spiritual growth activities. It fosters fellowship, biblical learning, and engagement in local and global mission initiatives.
